Making a difference in the world was so important to my mom, Mary. She was passionate about helping those in need, people and animals alike (offering rides, money, shelter & time), adopting shelter pets, supporting non-profits, recycling, serving on various committees, and making sure those in her life were well cared for & knew how important they were to her.
To continue her mission we are donating her art to charities she did or would have supported. Last year we donated 16 paintings to The Cat Care Society for their online auction to fund care for shelter cats who have multiple health needs.
This year we are donating a painting to my employer, Stanley British Primary School, for their fundraising auction. Funds raised during this auction will go towards Stanley's mission and to enrich our students' experience. I am in my 3rd year at Stanley and couldn't be happier!!! The staff, students and parents make up such a loving & supportive community. My mom would be so happy to see how much joy being a part of the Stanley family has brought me & so proud knowing a piece of our family is supporting Stanley’s mission.
Doing good in the world in my mom's name is a legacy we're proud to continue! Here's the painting we're donating.
