we DANCE on the shoulders of GIANTS! It is because of them that we are able to fly. It is their blood, their sweat, their tears that charted new avenues, broke through glass ceilings, and defied the expectation of what could be done. It was through dance, through theatre, through film, through art that we saw the beauty and the humanity I of another. They showed us LIFE. We speak their names and we say THANK YOU… Hinton Battle, Chita Rivera, and Maurice Hines. May your spirit continue to dance THROUGH US!
