It is with great sadness that we must announce that the owner of SoundDown Party Denver, Peter has passed away earlier this week from natural causes.

If you have an event planned or an event coming up that depends on Peter, we ask that you contact an alternative provider of silent disco equipment.

We are truly sorry if you have an event earlier this week or soon and have been trying to contact Peter. This is his brother, and I only have access to this page. So, please share the news with all companies, clients or events coming up that are impacted.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first ever sensory friendly roller derby this past Saturday, 8/2/25 at The Rollerdome in Denver, CO.

Our silent disco headphones were used to broadcast the announcer to minimize loud noise for neurodivergent spectators, while also providing sensory friendly music on the remaining channels.

Thank you to Rocky Mountain Roller Derby for choosing SoundDown to support this unique, thoughtful, & creative application of our technology.

Who loves roller derby?! We do!!!

And for the first time ever, we're going to be at The Rollerdome this Saturday, 8/2 for a one-of-a-kind, sensory friendly roller derby!

In an effort to embrace the spectrum of human experiences and create an opportunity for more people to attend a roller derby bout, will be using our headphones to create a "sensory friendly" bout without loud noises & lights.

Various modifications will be made for this event, including:

🎧 Announcing will be done in the style of a silent disco, versus with a microphone and loudspeakers.

👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 Limited spectators will be allowed (it will be capped at 100 people).

🧗 Chairs will be available, as well as bleachers, for spectator seating to better allow for personal space.

🌞 The event will be held in the afternoon, limiting the need for overhead lights.

🤐 Officiating will be adjusted to limit whistling (typically used for starting a jam, penalties, marking the lead jammer, calling off the jam, etc.)

🔇 There will be a “Sensory Seeking” area in the courtyard; there will also be a dedicated quiet area inside.

⌚ Doors: 1:00 p.m.
Game starts: 2:00 p.m.

We're so excited to partner with Colorado Tap House for a Hawaiian-themed silent disco luau next Saturday 7/19!..

Join us for a lively Luau & Pig Roast on Saturday, July 19, 2025 starting at 1 PM! Enjoy a festive day of island-inspired fun featuring live music by Tribal Dantz at 1 PM, a Polynesian dancer at 3 PM, and a FREE silent disco from 5:45 to 8:45 PM.

Feast on a $20 pig roast plate with BBQ beans, Hawaiian slaw, a sweet roll, and watermelon. Food is first come-first served. Then sip on tropical favorites like piña coladas, mai tais, and pain killers - all at our Tiki Bar down in the games area which will also have beer!
