Up for sale is a highly collectible piece of mid-century American political memorabilia: a complete, vintage 1963 deck of "Kennedy Kards" playing cards.Published by Humor House, Inc. and printed by the Arrco Playing Card Company, this deck features gently satirical caricatures of President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, and key members of the Kennedy family circle and administration (including Robert, Teddy, Rose, Papa Joe, and Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson). These cards were originally scheduled for widespread distribution in late 1963 but were abruptly pulled from production following the tragic assassination of JFK in November of that year.
