One of the distinguishing features of Studio B that sets it apart from the other rehearsal studios here in Denver is our lounge. It has a mini-fridge stocked with cold water, seltzer and soda, a microwave, coffee, tea, and snacks!

And if that’s not enough, we have a second mini-fridge in the studio with more water, soda, and plenty of space for your own drinks.

🎶🎹 New Release Day 🎶🎹 Legends, Losers & Lies, the new full-length album by Dirty Shoes Band, is available today wherever you stream and download music.

We began recording just a little over a year ago in November of 2024, and we’ve been so excited for this day to finally arrive.

As I listen, I’m taken back to those sessions and the memory of all the good times we had. It was such a fun record to work on. Ultimately, I’m just filled with pride and gratitude. I think we knocked it out of the park, guys! Thanks bring us along for the ride.

On this day, December 12, 2020, Charley Pride died at the age of 86, dude to health complications relating to the COVID-19 virus.

In the 1950’s he played baseball for the Negro League. Then in the 1960’s he became a country singer, having an incredibly successful career spanning the following decades. As country music’s first Black superstar, he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000. He is still one of just 3 Black members of the Grand Ole Opry.

For today’s we’re looking at our arsenal of vintage Ampeg amps and speaker cabinets. We’ve got an early 70’s V4 halfstack that sounds as good on bass as it does on guitar; an early 70’s B15s amp pushing a SVT 410-HLF Heritage; a 1967 SB-12, and a 1997 B-100r.
