Psssst. We have a request, let me whisper it to you.

With all of us in isolation, it can be hard to connect in a meaningful way.

But we at the OMMN are committed to making stuff fun. To do that though we need your help. In April we will be hosting a digital Open Mic. It will be live and streamed live for people to enjoy and will hopefully be a cool way for you guys to support us, Mutiny Book Store, and artists in Denver, CO.

To do this we want to increase our reach and network to make it more inclusive for everyone.

Here is how you can help:

1. Share OMMN with people who would find it rad.

Due to the health concerns for our performers, family and friends. we have decided to postpone the March OMMN. For us it is a sad day but we are hopeful that we can get everything back together soon.

We at OMMN HQ just keep focused on the idea that this will too will pass. If you are so inclined take this time to find alternatives to support local art. Buy art, give donations to artists or performing groups or non-profits, share artists you like on Facebook to keep the momentum going for when we can come back.

The Open Mic Magic Night!

In the year of our lord 2017, a young mage, by the name of Michael Rehdish, entered the Mutiny Information Cafe with a request. Create a Monday night open to all of those practitioners of Legerdemain and deception. Those who have the skills with cards and coins, those who can manipulate your mind or the occasional pickle were invited to showcase their talents and skills for an audience.

What started as a fun little “hang out” for magicians has become one of the most critically acclaimed performance nights at the Mutiny Bookstore. Hosted by James Lopez, Open Mic Magic Night is a once a month event for magicians in the Denver area to practice and hone their skill. Magicians of varying skill levels can come and work on new effects, refine old ones, or just perform their favorite routines in a safe and warm environment. The open mic is free for audiences to attend and is a great way to see live magic in the Denver area.

The Open Mic Magic Night is the 3rd Monday of every month. Sign-up starts around 6:45ish and the show starts at 7:00ish.

Come fool or come be fooled with the coolest magical performers in Denver, CO.
