From the fields where crops are sown to the kitchens where traditions are passed down through generations, food has always been a powerful medium for storytelling. The journey of the African diaspora cuisine is layered with history, joy, struggle, and love. The evening will explore those layers, offering a tapestry of flavors through three courses prepared by local chefs, with ingredients provided by African American Colorado farmers that reveal not just what we eat, but who we are.

THE Colorado Black Arts Festival IS WORKING TO REMAIN GREAT PARTNERS WITH CITY PARK, THE CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER, AND SURROUNDING NEIGHNORHOOD!

PLEASE RESPECT OUR PARKING RULES AND AHERE TO THE NO PARKING SIGNS AND SECURITY REQUESTS.

IT IS A ONE WAY IN THE PARK WITH THE ENTRANCE ON 23RD AVENUE! 17TH AVENUE IS CLOSED AND AN EXIT ONLY.

PLEASE DO NOT MAKE U-TURNS AT THE ROUNDABOUTS AND PARK OPPOSITE THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC.

NO PARKING AT THE ROUNDABOUTS OR FENCE LIINE. YOU IMPEADE EMERGENCY ACCESS AND IT COULD COST SOMEONE THEIR LIFE!

LASTLY, GO THROUGH THE GATES WITH THE WHITE TENTS. IF YOU FIND YOURSELF ENTERING WHERE THERE ARE NO OTHER PATRONS THAT MEANS YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE!
