Too simple, sentimental simpin' makes you send for rentals
Debit stay in debt and now I bet no bread for incidentals
Got to raise the bar to get the credit and to bend their mental
Get potential, then credentials- differential; pen and pencil
Temporary fix- the Pencil, use the pen for residential
Pea and lentil, weak and gentle, easy/simple- keep the rental

Fleeting, flying, falling fast
Precious, begging them to last
Pleading rest, yet always crash
Never finding NEW beginnings to those endings meant to pass .....
Measured moments that we grasp
Treasures stolen, one man's trash
Pleasures desperately amassed
Gestures separately impasse
Never finding NEW beginnings to those endings meant to pass .....
Dare we cherish every laugh?
Share each blessing on our path?
Care for special needs, if asked?
THERE the efforts shine like glass...
When we take the TIME to make these new beginnings come to pass...

If Time is money, shouldn't it be spent productively and not wasted?

*Another Chance*
Another opportunity for me to get things right/ A dream once, now aspirations focused in my sight/ Maturity obtained with understanding through these months/ My soul searches for wisdom, not the absence that was once/ Before; my anger radiant with passion as my pride/ Now knowledge is my marathon, the Word, my EVERY stride/ I pray for patience through this absence, knowing He will grant/ The fortitude and perseverance so I won't recant/ My hand in His through circumstance, His footprints in the sand/ To carry me through tribulations until I can stand/ No condemnation in the Spirit, living in His law/ A different creature, new creation, hands without a claw/ I turn to Him for comfort and full healing of my life/ From painful judgments, criticisms, betrayals, and strife/ Words that cut are unfamiliar, now desiring love/ Now forgetting everything except the One above/ May my life reflect examples given of God's grace/ And may my life so shine, until I see His face/ Another chance at joy, another opportunity/ Another day He's blessed us all to choose Him and be free!
