Ive always been a creator, I started with watercolors and drawings and when I went to art school in 2014, I found many other mediums that would allow me to express myself further. Since then, I have gravitated towards textile arts such as embroidery and soft sculpture, as well as 2D mediums such as oil and acrylic painting, and book arts. I focus on the aspect of craft and community through art, c
onnecting the two ideals together to create a utopian world of whimsy and creative color. I fully believe in creating the world you want to live in through visual expression, tradition and customs. Craft can bring communities together to create a sense of belonging and story, writing the chapters to our own lived experience.
