Together Asa Erlendson, Bre Forkes and Joe Phillips perform a monoscene. Similar in some ways to a one act play, HUMANS will take you to a variety of scenarios ranging from slice of life to the surreal. Asa Erlendson wears many hats in the realm of improvisation. A performer, a teacher, and always a student, he has been improvising for nine years and does not plan to stop. He has performed in fest
ivals in Denver, Austin, Omaha, Detroit, Chicago, and New York City. Outside of improv, he loves dancing, the Denver Public Library, and riding his bicycle. Bre Forkes has been improvising since 2009. She started in college at the University of Northern Colorado where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Acting. After that, she trained in Chicago with Second City’s Comedy Studies program. She’s been doing improv in Denver since 2012, graduating from Bovine Metropolis and Grafenberg Productions. She’s played in the Denver Improv Festival, the Orange County Improv Festival, the Houston Improv Festival, the Chicago Improv Festival, and the Omaha Improv Festival. She loves her team HUMANS and also loves Sour Patch Kids in this order: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue. Joe Phillips is a Denver native who trained in Chicago and Los Angeles at i.O., i.O. West, Second City, Second City Hollywood and The Annoyance Theater. He once came in 3rd place in a Street Fighter II tournament in Aurora and was sophomore class president while attending Hinkley High School.
