Denver's Ballet Ariel Company is building excitement about ballet with beautiful, original ballets. Founded in 1998 by Director Ilena Norton, Ballet Ariel delights audiences with the diversity of their programs and dancers. The company employs 12 professional dancers, under Ballet Master Patricia Renzetti and Rehearsal Director Oleg Dedogryuk. Ballet Arielâs repertoire includes classical works and
original ballets, including Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, Tale of Molly Brown, and Sleeping Beauty's Dream. Ballet Ariel performs its season concerts at the Lakewood Cultural Center and the Elaine Wolf and Cleo Parker Robinson Theatre in Denver. They have also performed in the Arvada Center for the Arts SummerFest Series, in the Lone Tree Passport to Culture Series, as an artistic partner at the PACE Center, in the Denver Ballet Guild Showcase, at the Cherry Hills Winter Cultural Series, in the Mile High Dance Festival in Denver, and on tour in Casper, Wyoming, Durango, Colorado and at the Tabor Opera House in Leadville. Ballet Ariel receives funding from Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, Adams Counties Scientific Cultural Facilities District, Colorado Creative Industries, and Denver Ballet Guild.
