CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
TAP
Tap class will emphasize tap technique & the various styles of tap. Students will learn coordination, single time steps, turns, combinations, and rhythm and timing. Adult classes also available.
JAZZ
Students will learn proper jazz technique as well as rhythms and patterns. Adult classes also available. BALLET
Class will focus on basic ballet technique, and proper bod
y alignment. Students will also be introduced to barre. Ballet will increase balance, coordination and flexibility. ACRO
Acrobatic elements combined with dance. Students will learn tumbling, flips, balance and coordination and increase flexibility.
LYRICAL
Created from the fusion of ballet with jazz and contemporary dance techniques, it is characterized by fluidity and grace, with the dancer flowing from one move to another, holding finishing steps as long as possible.
CREATIVE MOVEMENT
An introduction to dance classes for children aged 2 and 3, including elements of Ballet and Acro. HIP-HOP
High energy class that teaches the latest styles of hip-hop street dancing, break dancing and many other styles. Students are encouraged to bring their own style to the movements. Adult classes also available.
CARDIO DANCE
Cardio dance is a fun, high-energy, Zumba-inspired fitness class. Great cardio workout designed to tone and strengthen your muscles through aerobic dance.
CARDIO BARRE
High Energy, low impact class that combines barre work with light weights. Utilizing the ballet barre to perform small isometric movements set to music, cardio barre is a total body workout that lifts your seat, tones your thighs, abs, and arms, and burns fat in record- breaking time.
YOGA
A class that focuses on meditation through movement and imagery, as well as a focus on breath, feeling and postures.. Our yoga classes are offered in various levels and taught by a variety of teachers.
FLEXIBILITY & STRENGTHENING
This class focuses on improving the dancer's range of motion, muscle flexibility and core muscle strength.
LEAPS, TURNS & JUMPS
Specialized class offered to help dancers focus on specific techniques and skills needed for leaps, turns and jumps.
