We are excited to announce William Havu Gallery is planning a show in July 2027 with Terran Last Gun. Currently featured in Art in America. Last Gun was selected by the editors for New Talent 2026. Pick up a copy of and read more about this amazing talent.

About the artist: My work often employs geometric aesthetics and contributes to an ancient yet continuum Piikani narrative. It bridges the ancient to the contemporary, all while creating visual color stimulation in my varied approaches to making art: printmaking, painting, photography, and ledger drawing that utilizes antique ledger sheets and documents. I am revealing fragments of time, history, and Indigenous abstraction—an art form that has continued to survive in North America for thousands of years. My work is bold, vivid, and has abstract minimalist qualities that are potent in meaning, content, and place.

The video includes examples of Last Gun’s ledger art.

The show will also include works from Jeff Kahm’s Estate and Santa Fe Sculptor Sheryl Zacharia.

Tres Voces, Un Corazón brings together distinct practices by three members of one family—Sylvia Montero, Tony Ortega, and their son, Cipriano Ortega. Celebrating both their collaborations and individual perspectives, the exhibition explores how identity, cultural memory, and artistic language are formed, challenged, and carried forward within a shared but evolving lineage.
