The Historians
“Seek truth. Speak truth. And for the love of Memoria, document it.”

Historians are followers of Memoria, the Great Owl. They pursue knowledge and love their artifacts, books, and records. They are advisors and scholars, and while some may also follow Nocturnae or Lumena (or other deities) and become inventors or healers, they are always seekers of truth and fact. The Historians have great minds, though many prefer libraries to social events. They’re often known to be a bit quirky, but trustworthy and honest.

Structure: There are 5 levels of Historians called Orders. Orders are awarded based on scholarly accolades such as publishing papers, books, and discovering important information.

“In darkness we find ourselves.”

Followers of Nocturnae tend to be artists, inventors, and creatives, and those who thrive in the night. They are one side of the coin to Guardians in that they don’t serve and protect. However, The Nocturne Court believes everyone has a voice and operates with a Social Anarchism structure. The group votes and shares responsibility and knowledge. They are often at the forefront of technological advancement and artistic exploration.

Introducing a Faction of Orbis: The Guardians of the Guiding Light

“The light that guides those who wander.”

Guardians are followers of Lumena, Goddess of the stars, and are an organized group of healers and protectors. They are noble, brave, and empathetic, though many of them have varying degrees of hero complexes. They are the largest religious organization in Orbis and have strict expectations of their followers and Guardians to do good and serve their communities. The leaders of the Guardians uphold the organization and the belief in Lumena, even though she hasn’t been seen on Orbis in modern times.

Structure: Celestials - There are five Celestials who lead the Guardians, and they have 5 year terms. One seat is elected by the Guardians each year. Below them are three ranks of Guardians: First, Second, and Third. To become a Guardian a follower must first become an Apprentice.

On the eve of the new year, the stars went out, casting a deep darkness over the night. Now followers of Lumena, the goddess of the stars, Nocturnae, the goddess of the night, and Historians gather seeking answers.

Immerse yourself in an evening of mystery, libations, and magic where your decisions determine the ending. Lumena is an interactive live action RPG (adjacent to LARP) event for fantasy lovers who are looking for more than just a typical evening out. The evening will include an immersive performance where attendees are welcome to participate or watch, solve puzzles and riddles, enjoy themed cocktails and dinner, and more! This is a 21+ event and fantasy cocktail attire is encouraged.
