~12hrs vs ~30hrs

Still thinking of a title for this one; it needs to be one that helps tell the story of the vision which it depicts.

The sketch on this canvas had been sitting in my studio for over a year before I started adding paint over the past couple weeks. During that time I've been dogsitting for some friends & bouncing around to a few public events soaking up tons of love from the community to channel into my work.

After a 🌞 tablet & lengthy bit of rollerblading around the park near my apartment, I decided to sit in the grass for a while to catch my breath.

It was a gorgeous spring day in Denver & the sunshine was hitting 😉

So, after I sat down & got my skates off, I closed my eyes, crossed my legs & found myself quickly in an intense meditative state after just a few deep breaths.

In this headspace, I had a vision of myself sitting in the park; not only did I have an imprint of my surroundings in my field of vision with my eyes closed, but I also could see a field of energy forming around me.

This field of energy appeared as Metatron's Cube at first but quickly expanded into a more chaotic pattern of vibration which would eventually become the park & the entirety of the world.

In that moment I was reminded of an ever-critical universal truth, WE ARE ONE.

All of the matter & life, consciousness & everything unknown within the confines of the universe comes from ONE source energy.

That source energy is known to man by many names, names which are unimportant so long as we remember that truth & choose to embody it by working to become the best versions of ourselves, versions of ourselves which help to bring up those around us.

Self actualization is the psychological process of realizing one’s full potential, becoming one's authentic self, and pursuing personal growth; the acknowledgment that one's full potential will be achieved only through duty to others is an imperative step in the process.

This vision, meditative realization & the subsequent artistic practice have helped to reignite my drive for creation in a way I can't exactly articulate in this moment but I am ecstatic to be back on my spiritual path making progress

This 8-hue setup was a ton of fun to play with & stays a bit more true to the actual visible light spectrum than the traditional "ROYGBIV" arrangement.

Allowing myself a bit of leniency on the idea of symmetry in order to pull this image from the aether really helped me to tap into flow-state & start back onto a path of consistent creation that I had strayed away from.

Tapping back into that flow has also helped me reconnect to my spirituality in a profound way, reminding me of my purpose as an artist & motivating me to push through difficult circumstances in order to spread a message of love.

Connecting with our communities & bringing each other up is one of the strongest weapons we have against the system of oppression which has been dividing us for countless years of "civilization" as human beings.

If you read this far, let this be your call to action to step up & help your community where you can, even that just means using your voice to remind people around you that we are more similar than we will ever be different.

Lately I've been spending a lot of time thinking about the future, but I've come to the realization that in order to manifest that future I've seen in my visions I must live in the moment & put forth the necessary worl to achieve my goals rather than just sit idly as I continue to dream.

Doing the work is difficult & tedious at times but the results will be worth the effort.

Posting more & sharing my work publicly is part of that, fear of failure & rejection loom largely over my head creating a cloud of anxiety....nonetheless, I am dedicated to my path!!!

I think the only thing I really added to this piece in 2026 was a clear coat so I'm considering it work I finished in 2025....still my first post of the year though!

If you haven't seen me online or out in Denver lately, I promise I'm still active on my story & making art daily!!

Shoutout to the new chapter(s) of my life that have been & are being written while I have been away from completing/sharing larger works. The words to go with the story are escaping me as I type this.

I am currently in yet another season of change, embracing the chaos once more & preparing myself for fair season.

Aka I got laid off from my job & I haven't really been looking for any kind of fall back plan...so I'm focusing on the many projects I have piled up from last year & mentally prepping for the new struggles I have invited with my commitment to my journey as a spiritual & creative being.

Expect some increased activity as I start stepimh back outside again!

This digital collage has a bit more meaning than the last.

Dealing with addiction is something that I've battled with myself & watched countless others deal with their own struggles with various forms.

This piece is dedicated to those who have battled & won, battled & lost, or are still fighting their own battles with impulse control each day as they continue to learn to cope with existing in this world.

Not sure I'm done playing with this image or the idea but I know that this time of year is especially hard for a lot of people & I want to remind everyone that no matter how it feels sometimes, you are not alone in your fight.

Reach out to your loved ones, find positive outlets, and don't beat yourself up too much for occasionally taking a step backwards as you walk your path.

I'm late to the party on this year but hopefully a few solid pieces will make up for it 😅

I've been trying to switch up my patterns in life & that means creating new patterns on paper as well.

This is only my 2nd time using this color scheme, creating balance was a bit of a challenge but I've always enjoyed a challenge & I learned a few key things in the process, can't wait to explore it more moving forward!!

Life is a rollercoaster & I'm just along for the ride...and I swear nobody reads captions so enjoy my journal post in the middle if you do.

Just as I thought I was settled into a new routine, the universe has decided to throw some new tests & obstacles my way.

Living alone with chronic pain & the accompanying health issues which cause it has started to become a burden.

My body hasn't been responding well to seemingly anything I do lately, but I refuse to stop doing things; so, it seems like it's time for yet another lifestyle adjustment in pursuit of a better tomorrow.

C'est la vie.

I added paint to this set of 9 plywood panels over the course of several months & then left them my desk drawer for a few more months before I finally could get enough frames & proper documentation.

This cube pattern is incredibly therapuetic to draw & I'm excited about exploring the possibilities of exploring the illusion of depth created by such a simple shape.

Stoked to finally share with the world!

Each day I inch closer to having the skillset to truly pull my visions from the aether & this is a clear step in the right direction.

I have visited a space like this inside my head on numerous occasions with the usage of various spiritual aides & traditional medicines.

Translating this space back into our physical realm has been my goal & my purpose ever since my first visit; seeing this bit of energy in the form of acrylic on canvas has me ecstatic beyond words!!
