Louis has loved drawing cars and trucks for as long as he can remember.
His work is full of detail, precision, and care. He often works on multiple drawings at once, moving between each piece as he sketches, inks, and adds color with marker.
Louis takes pride in the time he puts into every drawing and is motivated to sell his work.
Your support gives artists the space to create what they love and build real opportunities through their art.

Last chance to see Paper Works.

Join us for Third Friday on May 15 from 6–8 PM for the final evening of this exhibition celebrating 20 years of Access Gallery in Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe.

Paper Works brings together artwork on paper by Access Gallery artists, with a focus on process, material, and where ideas begin.

The exhibition was curated by Denver artist James-Allan Holmes in collaboration with Access Gallery artists Brittany Murdock and Stephen Ray Esparza.

Stop by, meet the artists, and spend the evening with art, conversation, and community.

Paper Works closes May 16.

Because of you, Access Gallery artists have opportunities to learn, explore, and gather inspiration beyond the studio.

Last week, artists visited the Forney Museum of Transportation, where vintage cars, trains, bicycles, and model railroads sparked conversation, curiosity, and new creative ideas.

Your support helps create experiences like this. Moments where artists connect with each other, discover something new, and carry that inspiration back into their work.

Brittany’s work is grounded in pattern, repetition, and material. Her connection to art began early, shaped by her grandmother and a lifelong pull toward creating. From Aboriginal dot painting to detailed beadwork, Brittany’s practice continues to grow through years of exploration.

She is also helping shape Paper Works, Access Gallery’s first exhibition curated in this way, alongside James-Allan Holmes and Access Gallery artist Stephen Ray Esparza.

Your support makes this possible. It creates space for artists to grow their work, share their perspective, and step into new creative roles.

Last Friday, we gathered to celebrate the first Sunny Bug Scholarship awards, created by Donna Baker-Breningstall in memory of her daughter, Sunia.

Sunia was an artist and part of the Access Gallery community. She spent years here creating, learning, and building connections through her work.

During the ceremony, Donna presented scholarships to Access Gallery artists and teaching artists, including teaching artist Andre Rodriguez and Access Gallery artist Stephen Ray Esparza, who are pictured here. Each award supports artists as they continue building their skills, exploring new ideas, and growing their creative practice.

These images also capture Donna sharing more about Sunia through her artwork, bringing her creative voice into the space in a powerful and personal way.

Thank you, Donna, for honoring Sunia in a way that continues to support artists today.
