Brad Reed Nelson is an artist and sculptor whose fabrication studio, Board By Design (Glenwood Springs) employs craftsman working primarily with metal and wood producing furniture and casegoods for both commercial and residential clients. Brad's sculpture and functional design pieces focus on how we relate to everyday objects, recontextualizing them to bring attention to elegance their form.

This one is perhaps our favorite in terms of the way Dorian painted the cape - the translucent veils of color are stunning! The inscription "A palabras necias oidos sordes" translates to "turn a deaf ear to foolish words" or more generally, "don't listen to the noise." That's a positive reminder for all of us!
