Defunk will be back at the Fractal Forest this year! Who else will we be seeing?

Fractal Forest and Team Fractal are pleased to announce our stage's full 2017 artist roster for the 20th annual Shambhala Music Festival. We are proud to announce that DJ Jazzy Jeff, legendary Hip Hop DJ and producer, will be joining us back in the Forest again this summer. Also gracing our stage are: A-Trak, Beardyman, DJ Z Trip, OPIUO, Rob Garza, Stanton Warriors and Krafty Kuts & Dynamite MC… On top of that, we’ve got loads more top-notch headliners and turntablists from around the world bringing you a healthy mix of breaks, house, glitch hop, hip hop, funk and D'n'B.
Smalltown DJs will also be throwing down the classic sounds and hosting the 5 hour Fractal Funk Jam on Sunday afternoon featuring a crazy mix of DJs with special guests Santa Clause and The Easter Bunny!

Defunk's twist on an amazing David Starfire Music track!

Expanding my musical horizon, I decided to create a more tranquil remix of David Starfires work. Taphon, which translates to drums in Burmese, inspired me to create a track driven by percussion. All of the royalties from the EP will go towards education for Burmese refugee children. The album artwork, originally created by the esteemed digital painter Android Jones, was reinterpreted by Donnie Pitts.
