A multi-day extravaganza of food, wine, and spirits events celebrating the best of Colorado's dining scene, the finest beverages, educational tasting seminars, and the signature Grand Tasting. The Denver Food + Wine Festival is a multi-day extravaganza of food, wine, and spirits events presented by the Colorado Restaurant Foundation and Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits taking place September 6 - 1

The annual event benefits the Colorado Restaurant Foundation, which supports worker education, training, and Colorado ProStart®, the state’s high school culinary and entrepreneurship program; mental health and wellness resources; and the Angel Relief Fund, which provides grants for hospitality employees experiencing hardship. Festival events feature the best of Colorado’s restaurant community, the finest wine and spirits, educational seminars, and the culminating signature Grand Tasting. The DF+WF Grand Tasting is an outdoor event that will be held rain or shine on September 10 at the Tivoli Quad on the Auraria Campus, at 1000 Larimer Street in Denver.

The 2026 Denver Food + W**e Festival was one for the books! 🥂

A huge thank you to the incredible restaurants, food trucks, chefs, crews, bartenders, beverage partners, sponsors, Colorado ProStart® teachers + students, volunteers, and everyone who joined us for an unforgettable celebration of Colorado’s culinary community. Together, we ate, sipped, celebrated, and raised important funds to support Colorado restaurant workers.

We’ll see you in 2027! Until then, we hope you left with a long list of incredible local restaurants to visit (listed on denverfoodandw**e.com), new favorite dishes and drinks to order, and plenty of reasons to keep supporting Colorado’s amazing hospitality community all year long. 🧡

🏆 Cheers to the 2026 Denver Food + W**e Festival Shake + Brake Showdown winners! Last night was just as fun as it was delicious, with incredible cocktails + food truck bites!

🍹 Judges’ Choice Cocktail, 1st Place: Alex Johnson of Semiprecious with the “Sunday Shifter,” made with Hello Soju Sake, strawberry, citrus, and jasmine condensed milk.

🌴 People’s Choice Cocktail, 1st Place: Sebastian Zydek of Rosalee’s Pizzeria with the “Forbidden Paradise,” featuring Malibu Pink, Aperol, yuzu-sherbet syrup, tropical citrus, pink bubbles, and homemade popsicles.

🌮 Judges’ Choice AND People’s Choice Food Truck, 1st Place: Mile High Tikka Express with their “Na-Cos,” beef vindaloo and chicken vindaloo naan tacos that swept both awards!

Getting ready for the Denver Food + W**e Festival Grand Tasting, happening this Saturday, August 29! 🍴

Ahead of the festival, “Top Chef” alum and Riot BBQ and Chicken Riot owner Chef Manny Barella joined Colorado ProStart® students at Legacy Campus for a hands-on master class.

Chef Manny walked students through preparing one of his signature dishes, a deviled egg chicken salad, which they’ll serve alongside him to more than 2,500 Grand Tasting attendees this weekend!

Experiences like this give ProStart students the opportunity to learn directly from industry professionals, build their skills, and see what a future in hospitality can look like. A huge thank you to Chef Manny for sharing his time and talent for another year and for continuing to support Colorado’s next generation of chefs.

We can’t wait to see these students in action on Saturday!
