You probably know we’re the Centennial State, admitted to the Union on August 1, 1876. But did you know DPO was once called Centennial Philharmonic in honor of that?

When Centennial, CO became a city, things got a little confusing, so we became Denver Philharmonic, still proudly rooted in Colorado’s rich cultural scene.

Here’s to more years of music, art, and inspiration in the Centennial State! 🎂🎶
