What a memorable evening celebrating excellence, creativity, talent, and fellowship of Colorado’s Black fine artists in Denver.
A special thank you to for his vision in bringing together such an incredible community of artists and for hosting this inspiring gathering at . It was wonderful to meet so many talented creatives, make new connections, and be surrounded by so much artistic excellence.
Among the many highlights of the evening was the opportunity to meet renowned artist Thomas Blackshear ll lackshear. Every conversation, every introduction, and every shared moment made the evening one to remember. This gathering so special. I’m grateful for the experience and look forward to staying connected and seeing what comes next.

Honoured to be part of the opening of the art exhibition “Susie’s Steel & Spirit: A Tribute to Susan T. King” at the Bearman Gallery, Frederick Douglass–Isaac Myers Maritime Museum.

It was a wonderful evening celebrating art and honouring living legend Susan T. King—a pioneering World War II Rosie the Riveter whose strength and resilience continue to inspire. Happy 102nd Birthday, Ms. King!
