I am a fine artist living in Denver! I'm mostly self taught. Now I'm turning it into a career.

I've done art in some way or other most of my life but I took up oil painting in 2020 when I found myself with a lot of extra time for some reason.

ALL DONE. This is a 30x40, the biggest thing I've done in a couple years. I think those clouds are lookin pretty majestic if I do say so myself 👀

I've been plugging away at this for a few days so I think today is a break. Then I think I'll start another big piece, maybe something more mountain/forest? What do you think?

I think those clouds are DONE. Today is day 5 on this and I think it’ll be pushing that reflection a bit more, adding some color to the sea, and giving that boat some detail

It’s called Red Oni Blue Oni and it’s kind of a reimagining of the red and blue skull project I tried to do earlier in the year that was not working out as intended

I used ivory black and Prussian blue, ultramarine blue, and cobalt teal for the blue skull and ivory black, cad red deep, pyrrole red, and cad red light for the red skull

They’re in the drying stage but they’ll be sold as a pair once they’re dried, varnished, and framed

Hey I’m still alive. I started that digital art project and quickly realized I could use a bit of brushing up on my actual drawing skills. So I’ve been doing that for the last few weeks. I’ve also been playing around with charcoal in the meantime! Here’s something I did today
