One year ago, SSA Group began an extraordinary partnership with the @‌Field Museum.

From exhibit-inspired merchandise and iconic holiday retail to an updated presence at O’Hare Airport, it’s been an incredible year. 🦕 → ✈️

Together, we’ve brought the Museum’s mission to life through refreshed spaces, bold creative vision, and thoughtfully curated collections inspired by its world-renowned archives, galleries, and traveling exhibitions.

From the spring Botanical Collection to the Tiffany window scarf, each piece celebrates the beauty of the natural world while creating new ways for guests to engage with science, culture, and history.

Our collaboration has also extended beyond Chicago through retail experiences for traveling exhibitions, including SUE: The T. rex Experience, Wild Color, and most recently the Pokémon Fossil Museum. Together, we’ve created retail experiences that help carry the Field Museum’s spirit of discovery to even bigger audiences.

We’re proud to collaborate on one-of-a-kind retail experiences and products that reflect the Field Museum’s identity, spark curiosity, and inspire exploration in meaningful ways.

This National Endangered Species Day, we’re recognizing the AZA institutions, NGO partners, conservation teams, and local communities working every day to protect vulnerable wildlife and the ecosystems they depend on.

Through Andrew Fischer’s support of the AZA Wildlife Conservation Committee and SAFE species initiatives, SSA stays connected to conservation efforts supporting species like:

It starts on phones, in group chats, through social content, reviews, and the small moments that help someone decide if an experience is worth their time.

That was one of the biggest themes we took away from this year’s Summit.

For museums and cultural attractions, the opportunity isn’t just creating a great visit once guests arrive. It’s making the entire journey feel connected—from discovery to ticket purchase to the return visit.
