Our emerging artist program offers financial support and mentorship to artists in the early stages of their careers, and that includes getting them ready to exhibit their work at our annual summer arts festival. One of the reasons we know this program works is because many of our emerging artists become regular exhibiting artists at our festival. Here are several examples this year, along with the year they were emerging artists:

Annie Anderson (2024)
Adam Anglin (2024)
Eunjoo Kang (2025)
Benjamin Stanford (2025)
Melissa Finelli (2008)
Kristen St. Clair (2025)
Paige Whitcomb (2018)

Melissa, Paige, and Eunjoo have all won awards at previous Cherry Creek Arts Festivals!

"Well Wishes and Dirty Dishes" by Bennett

Bennett’s work blends nostalgia with evolution, rooted in childhood memories of painting alongside her grandmother, who inspired her with the use of a spatula as her primary tool. Bennett's exhibited at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival six times previously.

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Bennet spent many formative years in Nashville, Tennessee, where her music-inspired pieces, especially her guitars, gained local recognition. By combining elements like mid-century advertising, acrylic mediums, and photography, Bennett creates a pop art-inspired funk aesthetic on wood. She now humbly hangs her hat in Atlanta, Georgia. See more of Bennett's work at www.bennettartgallery.com or Bennett Art.

We love "Well Wishes and Dirty Dishes" for so many reasons, and we're thrilled to feature it as this year's festival poster!
