El Aeropuerto Internacional de Denver abrió sus puertas para resaltar nuestras tradiciones con arte y música. 🎨 🎶

Disfrutamos de la pintura en vivo del artista local Armando Silva y la presentación del mariachi femenil Las Dahlias.

Así fue como “Para Mí Familia” se destacó en el Aeropuerto este año. 💀❤️

Un agradecimiento especial al Consulado General de México en Denver por su colaboración en este proyecto de promover y resaltar el arte y cultura de México. 🇲🇽

✨ Denver International Airport showcased Calaveras en Mi Ciudad, a mobile art exhibition that celebrates and pays tribute to Día de Mu***os (Day of the Dead), a holiday and day of remembrance in Mexico.
 
🎨 The exhibition included artists Anthony Garcia Sr., Armando Silva, Juls Mendoza, Karma Leigh, Xencs L. Wing, Charlo G. Walterbach, Bimmer Torres, Jennifer Gomez, and Spaik, all who hand-painted the calaveras. The original papier-mâché mold of the calaveras was created by artist Ricardo Soltero. Each calavera is a personal statement that is unique to its creator, and each one reminds us that our spirits continue after death.

As we remember and celebrate the impact of loved ones who have passed away, we are honored to have Calaveras en Mi Ciudad art exhibit highlighted in this special presentation by Michelle Griego of CBS Colorado in their Elevating Latino Voices segment on Día de Mu***os.

The calaveras are on display at the A-Bridge and Concourse A West at Denver International Airport through November 3, 2025. 💀💀💀

Jaén Cartonería se dedica a preservar la tradición del Día de Mu***os a través de creaciones monumentales de cartonería tradicional de México exhibidas en espacios públicos.

Les invitamos a ver y disfrutar de los cráneos inmersivos en exhibición en el Arts Complex que fueron diseñados como piezas interactivas, y se les invita a los niños a explorar adentro y disfrutar de sus diseños en el interior.
