Gnome Sweet Gnome
July 12 & 19 (2-session class)
1:00–2:30 or 3:00–4:30
Cost: $30
There’s no place like home…. In this class, students will create adorable houses that are just the right size for a gnome. Students will be using various clay handbuilding techniques to make their gnome home unique. After the first class session, the homes will be kiln-fired off site. In the second session, students will use acrylic paint and experiment with dry brushing techniques, layering the paint to achieve a rustic look. Two class times are offered on this date.

Nighttime Wonders: You+Me=We
July 12, 10:00–11:30 am
Cost: $15 for Parent and Child
This You+Me=We parent/child class is designed to inspire preschoolers and their parents to express themselves creatively through process-based art. Parents and students will create a vibrantly colored owl painting and a 3-dimensional fiber-wrapped owlet.

Woven Wonders—Lower Elementary
July 14, 1:00–2:30
Cost: $15
In this class for lower elementary students, we'll be creating fiber-based decorations with yarn and other materials. Students will create a circular weaving integrating yarn and acrylic paint patterns. Students will also create a charming yarn-wrapped character. The satisfaction of weaving and wrapping is sure to please.

Woven Wonders—Upper Elementary/Middle-School
July 14, 3:00–4:30 am
Cost: $15
Upper elementary and middle school students will marvel at the simplicity and elegance of a tassel wall hanging. Students will learn how to create yarn tassels and then sew them into place, creating a beautiful flowing wall hanging. To finish our class time together, students will create a "bouquet" of yarn-wrapped sticks. This yarn-wrapped bouquet will never wilt, fade, or need to be watered. Perfect for year-round beauty.
