Announcing the UNT CoLab’s October community exhibition, “Creature Feature” - to be displayed in the Mezzanine-level gallery. This will accompany our Main-level gallery exhibition curated by UNT Special Collections, highlighting strange and unusual history in “Artifacts of Lore.”

We are seeking artwork submissions featuring creatures that exist in the realm of the mysterious, weird and the unexplained.

Artists must be 18 years of age or older and pieces should not exceed 36” in any direction. Artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration.

Submissions are due by Sunday, Sept. 6, with notifications sent to the artist by Sept. 15. The exhibition will be on view from October 1 - 31. Submit your work through the links provided; Instagram link is located in the bio, Facebook link will be included in the comments.

Vinyl Vibes Creative Social is back this Thursday! Join us at GDAC with Analog Society on August 6th, 6-8 PM. Bring a vinyl or two and a creative project you’ve been working on, or something you’ve been meaning to start!

🚧 Pardon our sparks! ⚡

GDAC will be closed next week while we complete electrical upgrades throughout the building. Even art needs a little extra power every now and then!

We'll miss seeing you, but we'll be back, brighter than ever, when we reopen on Monday, August 3.

Thanks for your patience while we give the building a much-needed behind-the-scenes upgrade. We can't wait to welcome you back 🤩!

After School Art Classes are back this fall at GDAC! 🍂🎨

Led by local artist Cassie Arnold, students in grades K–6 will explore painting, sculpture, printmaking, clay, mixed media, and more. Along the way, they'll learn about art history, tour GDAC's exhibitions, and prepare for a student art show at the end of the session to celebrate all they've created!
