After a combined 85 years of producing quality performing arts in Denton, Music Theatre of Denton and Denton Community Theatre have joined forces as Theatre Denton. DCT was established over 50 years ago and has produced stage productions every year since. MTD was established over 35 years ago starting as a Light Opera Company and then concentrating on musical theatre The 1000's of volunteers that

lend their time and talents from Board Members to actors, to techies, to designers, to ushers have insured the success of Theatre Denton.
