CONGRATULATIONS to all the students who traveled to Austin to perform in the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition. The students listed below earned Superior ratings for Gold Medals, or Excellent ratings for a Silver Medal.
Special shout out to sophomore bassist Mark Eads for earning the coveted Outstanding Performer of the Day award from his judge (only seven other Guyer orchestra students have ever earned this honor in the history of the school.)

Bravo to all the students who performed beautifully on our Orchestra Spring Concert! All State Orchestra, Choir, and Band students were featured, and the Guyer wind symphony joined the orchestra for two symphonic works! Lastly, the entire orchestra program joined together on stage for Scenes from Swan Lake and the traditional end of year The Windmills of Your Mind, dedicated to our graduating seniors!

Join us tonight at 7:00 PM in the GHS Auditorium for our final concert of the year!

This special performance will feature music from movies, performances by our full orchestra, and collaborations with members of our wonderful choir and band. We hope to see you there for a great evening of music!

Our trip to hear Guyer alumni Christian Luevano perfom in his inaugural season as Associate Principal Bassist with the Dallas Symphony was a very special evening for so many reasons! Students, teachers, and parents from Crownover and Harpool middle schools, and Guyer High School attended.
We had a catered dinner that was delicious, then headed down to the Pre-concert talk that was engaging and educational, followed by the concert itself and then a meet and greet after the show!
Thank you to the teachers, parents, and students for joining us for an evening of amazing music and learning!

Hello, Guyer Orchestra!

It's time to buy tickets for the end-of-year banquet. All orchestra students and family members are welcome. Scholarships and Awards will be announced, and seniors will be recognized. Dinner is included in the ticket price and is catered by Circle R Ranch. Every person in attendance needs to purchase a ticket, including students. You don't want to miss this!

Please ensure that you purchase your ticket before the headcount is due to the venue at the end of the day on May 1.
The banquet is on Thursday, May 7, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Circle R Ranch, 5901 Cross Timbers Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75022

Your dedication, passion, and artistry have left a lasting mark on this program. From early morning rehearsals to late-night performances, you've led with excellence and inspired those around you. Your growth as musicians and leaders has been remarkable, and your presence will be deeply missed. Thank you for the music, the memories, and the legacy you've created.
