Big Swing'n Band Club The “Robson Ranch Jazz Club” has hosted local Big Bands here at the Ranch for Sunday afternoon concerts/dances for a number of years.

Big Swing'n Band Club is dedicated to promoting Big Band music for dancing and listening pleasure.

“None of the post or comments on this site are an official communication of Robson Ranch Denton Homeowners Association” We have hosted the UNT 2 O'clock band, Gainesville Swing Orchestra, Young at Heart Band, Keller Area Youth Jazz Orchestra, Southlake Swing Band and Pecos River Brass. It’s been an

opportunity to see and hear great music and provide some financial reward for these groups. In 2023, the “Robson Ranch Jazz Club” changed its name to “The Big Swing’n Band Club”. This is to better reflect the style of music that the club will be hosting, but by no means limited to. We will continue to host many of the area bands. You can see some clips of all the bands on our page: www.facebook.com/BSwingnBandClub. Early 2022 the “Robson Ranch Jazz Club” started its own band. Not surprisingly, we call it Robson Ranch Big Swing’n Band. We have been rehearsing most Wednesdays at 2 PM in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Little by little, week by week, we have added new musicians and have been learning new charts. A majority of the musicians are Robson Ranch residents and have been playing at evening dances and special events since 2023. Fliers with dates, times and how to get tickets is on the Club's page. In late 2023 the club also formed the Robson Ranch Little Swing’n Band where we play at special events (dances, weddings, banquettes, parties......). In 2025 the saxophone quartet Sax Appeal was formed. The quartet plays at small parties or other events. We would love to see at one or ALL of our events. As the seasons change, the Robson Ranch Big Swing'n Band is preparing for the Summer Dance on May 9th. Come and join us for an evening of good music and dancing. The music will continue to evolve as the band is adding some new songs while still playing some of the best songs from past dances.

All dances sponsored by the Big Swing'n Band Club are held at the Robson Ranch, Denton, TX Clubhouse. 9428 Ed Robson Circle, Denton, TX 76207. Exit 79 off I-35W. Go West on Robson Ranch Road for about 2 miles to the main entrance. Let the person at the gate know that you are attending a dance at the clubhouse. All events are open to the public.

Tickets to all the dances can be purchased in advance by using VENMO or Zelle'. Scan the below QR code for your purchase. Tickets will be held at the Will Call table for pickup at the night of the dance.

Last night (10/3) over 115 people came out to dance and listen to the Robson Ranch Big Swing'n Band in support of Women Rock in their fight against breast cancer. The Pink Fling Charity Dance raised over $2,000 for Women Rock to support their cause. Good music for a good cause.
