UNT Vox Aquilae/Collegium Singers Vox Aquilae/Collegium Singers is an ensemble at the University of North Texas that focuses on Early/Baroque music.

The ensemble frequently performs their concerts with the UNT Baroque Orchestra.

We’re very excited for a wonderful upcoming fall semester, with some incredible music in store! Repertoire this semester will include works of composers from London and all over Europe, with a potential festival in the mix as well. It’s going to be a great semester!!

UNT choral students, if you haven’t yet, be sure to mark your interest in singing with us on your audition Google form for the Fall!

If you're registered for the National ACDA Conference, you won't want to miss our interest session on Musica Transalpina! You'll hear a wonderful discussion between Dr. Allen Hightower and Professor Paul Leenhouts, as well as a recent performance from Vox Aquilae and the UNT Baroque Orchestra.

CHORAL DMA STUDENTS HONORED: Francis Cathlina and McKenna Stenson, both doctoral choral conducting students, have been named semi-finalists for the American Prize in conducting. BREAKING NEWS: The American Choral Directors Association 2021 national conference has extended an invitation to UNT’s Baroque Orchestra, Paul Leenhouts, director and Vox Aquilae, directed by Allen Hightower, as demonstration groups presenting "Baroque Choral Works with Period Instruments from the Archives of Prince Carl Liechtenstein of Kroměříž."
