🚨 🛑 ✋🏽 😤 STOP DOING THIS
❤️🔥 🗣🎙 Real Talk 💯💯💯
There is more than one way to support someone’s small business other than making a purchase and we are all too old to act like we don’t know how to use social media when it comes to supporting each other vs these big companies and their pages.
Here are some helpful tips:
✨ Like AND leave a comment of support, praise, encouragement ANYTHING. This is literally the least you can do for someone.
✨ Don’t stop there! If you see 👀 a link follow it and LIKE their page or 💖 their shop.
✨ Want to make a shop owner blush? 🥰
Hit their links and start commenting, sharing, tagging people who fit their products. Pages have INVITE friends to like buttons for a reason!
✨ UNFOLLOW big name pages and fill your feed with more small businesses
✨ MAKE your own posts, by sharing information from different places it helps cast a broader net to potential audiences. By adding your testimonial/review it helps create brand trust. That includes when you share a post always add context to why others should pay special attention to this share/post.
✨ Network smarter not harder- small business owners join each other’s groups so you can engage on friend’s posts so they don’t sink like rocks or share business posts to groups you are already in that fit their products. If you are both already in a group bump each other’s posts.
✨ SAVE for later, start match making your friends with handmade goods now, start seeking out and saving shops for later purchases for special occasions. It’s a lot easier to refer people to a friend’s shop if you already follow them. You never know when someone will mention a product a friend sells, be ready to recommend!
