Grayson College Theatre This page is a way to communicate information about the Grayson College Theatre department.

Purpose: The Drama Department endeavors to:
1.offer courses in performance and production as well as give practical experience in theatre
2.produce at least four fully staged productions a year
3.serve the community by offering plays appropriate to all ages and a diverse season
4.prepare students for professional employment in theatre by providing them the resources necessary to obtain internship

s and apprenticeships with professional theatres while they are still students
5.expose students to a variety of theatrical styles and productions through an association with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival
•Within the theatre curriculum, the faculty introduce the fields of acting, directing, and designing as places of equal opportunity for all races and genders.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Anthropology by Lauren Gunderson (our November production), which has been invited to the American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) Region 6 Festival in Abilene, Texas Februrary 20-25.
ACTF Region 6 consists of all participating colleges and university Theatre programs in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Lousiana, and New Mexico.
Only four productions were selected to perform:
• The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley
• Sul Ross University | Alpine, Texas
• Dillard University | New Orleans, Louisiana
• Grayson College | Denison, Texas

Grayson College Theatre presents "anthropology" by Lauren Gunderson, a clever mystery with a thrilling conclusion that could only be told in today’s technologically expanding world.
Staring Gryason College Students Kodi Prestage, Andrea Bryson, Avery Tollison, and Jay Hill, this is our second entry to the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region 6 Festival for the 25-26 season.
Showtimes: Thursday, November 13 at 7:30pm, Friday, November 14 at 2:30pm and 7:30pm and Saturday, November 15 at 2:30pm. Limited seating begins thirty minutes prior to the start of the show.
General Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors.
Admission is free for Grayson College Students, Faculty and Staff.
