GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT: Shreveport, it is morphin' time again! We've already added Walter E. Jones to the lineup, and now we are bringing you another OG member of the 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'.

We are proud to announce that David Yost is coming to Geek'd Con 2026!

David launched his career as Billy Cranston, the original Blue Ranger on the 1993 television series 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers'. He would go on to appear in almost 200 episodes of the series, establishing him as one of the most iconic Rangers actors of all time.

He holds a unique place in franchise history as the only original cast member to appear in every single episode of the initial series. He also brought the Blue Ranger to the big screen in the 1995 theatrical release, 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie'.

When the television show transitioned into 'Power Rangers Zeo', David stayed on as Billy, shifting from the frontline to serve as the technical advisor for the team.

After time away from the screen, David returned to the franchise in 2023. He reprised his role as Billy for the Netflix 30th-anniversary special, 'Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always'. He then continued his return by appearing as a mentor across all 10 episodes of 'Power Rangers Cosmic Fury', helping the newest team battle the returning villain Lord Zedd.

GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT: Happy Friday the 13th, Shreveport! Since today is the luckiest day in horror, it is the absolute perfect time to announce our next guest for Geek'd Con 2026. We are hyped to welcome the legendary "Monster Man" himself, Douglas Tait, to the lineup!

Douglas is a celebrated stuntman who is widely known for bringing some of the most terrifying creatures and iconic slashers to life. He famously appeared in the iconic slasher crossover Freddy vs. Jason as the legendary Jason Voorhees.

By donning the iconic hockey mask, Douglas cemented his place in horror royalty. But truly made history when he took a turn as Michael Myers in the film Halloween Kills. Because it makes him one of only two actors (Tom Morga being the other) in the history of cinema to play both Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers on the big screen.

Beyond his legendary slasher milestones, Douglas has an incredible resume of practical effects and monster roles. He appeared in the movie as the vengeful boar creature Gruagach in Hellboy, the terrifying Werewolf in Annabelle Comes Home, the "Long Face Bar Alien" in Star Trek, a Frost Giant in Thor, and the primary antagonist Malivore in the series Legacies.

He also famously appeared on television as the Sasquatch in the wildly popular Jack Link's Beef Jerky commercials!

For the ultimate horror fans, Douglas will be appearing for both Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers in-costume photo ops at Geek'd Con this year!
