Our grandmother is 89 years old and was put on hospice beginning of June. While caring for her in Florida thinking we had days left with her, we spent 3 weeks helping take care of her. And here she is almost 3 months later still kicking. 🙏🏻 Her love for ceramics will always be with us. Since I was a little girl I would always hear about her pouring ceramics on the navy base in Mayport Florida and watch her paint the most beautiful Christmas pieces.
I just recently visited again to watch her for a week and I wanted to sit with her and pour ceramics as she never got to visit our studio. Here’s a picture of her teaching me her ways. We love you grandma and thank you for keeping art in the family and sharing your wisdom and always showing support in what we do. ⚓️
