💜To our Prentice Ink Fam and Friends,
We know most of you have heard however some have not, but we have to share some of the worst possible news.
Our beloved Tattoo Guru Steven Prentice has passed away.
This is a terribly difficult time for all of us. There have been many rumors and hardships thrown around because of all of this. Death can make people turn dark corners.
We are taking a different path.
We’re taking the high road.
You may have passed the shop.
Yes it is empty.
His biological family have removed mostly everything from the shop.
There’s nothing we can do.
Until it all goes to court to get settled.
However, Prentice Ink is more than just the shop and the things there. It was his art. His work. His comfort and kind words people came for.
Prentice Ink will never be the same. But we will rebuild in his name. One day.
In the meantime and between time, we will be hosting a celebration of life for Steve. The date and location are to be announced but it will most likely be in a month or two.
It will be a car and bike show, bring your bikes and coolest cars or just be here to help us celebrate such a cool guy. There will be music and outdoor games. We ask you to wear your Prentice Ink merch or Harley Davidson attire. We will create an event on Facebook once we have all of the details set in place.
Now, as for Prentice Ink merch, we are taking orders now so message Trey or Steffani directly for details, but we will be doing a round of T-shirt’s and plan to have them all ready for the celebration of life. We’re doing tshirts because nobody wants to wear a hoodie in 90 degree weather. 😂 We most likely will have leftover tshirts at the celebration for anyone who wasn’t able to get one prior. And we will also be taking hoodie orders for fall.
Anyone who is concerned, or confused or wants to talk about anything, share a story, place a shirt order, or ask about any of the rumors going around, feel free to reach out to Trey or Steffani. We are here to talk to you guys and let you know that Steven may no longer be with us. But we’re still here to keep his dream going. And we’re not letting anyone stop us.
This is the most difficult time for us. We love you all. Thank you for your patience and understanding through all of this. We’re all in this together homies. 💜
