York County BBQ Festival- Thank you
The 2026 York County BBQ Festival, held June 12–13, 2026, was a tremendous success thanks to the generosity, dedication, and hard work of local businesses, community organizations, volunteers, entertainers, competitors, and supporters who came together to create one of Southern Pennsylvania’s premier family-friendly events.
Hosted by the Delta Community Alliance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the York County BBQ Festival is dedicated to community revitalization, economic development, and the preservation of local history. The annual festival brings together residents and visitors from across the Mid-Atlantic region while supporting local businesses, celebrating local talent, and showcasing the welcoming spirit of the Delta community.
Built by Volunteers:
The York County BBQ Festival extends its deepest appreciation to the dozens of volunteers who dedicated countless hours planning, organizing, setting up, operating, and cleaning up the event. From preparing the grounds and assisting vendors to directing parking, selling tasting tickets, supporting children’s activities, maintaining the competition area, and welcoming thousands of visitors, these volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes.
Many arrived before sunrise and remained long after the crowds departed, demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to their community. Their passion and willingness to serve are the foundation of the festival’s success.

The Festival also extends its sincere gratitude to the Peach Bottom Township Supervisors for their continued partnership and generous donation of the Peach Bottom Community Grounds. Their support provided an outstanding venue that welcomed visitors from across the region and made it possible to host a festival that continues to grow each year.

The York County BBQ Festival proudly thanks the talented musical performers who kept the festival grounds energized throughout the weekend. Their outstanding performances created an atmosphere that brought families, friends, and visitors together and showcased the incredible local and regional talent found throughout our area.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the many community organizations, civic groups, churches, nonprofits, youth organizations, and local businesses that participated by hosting activities, providing demonstrations, supporting children’s programming, serving food, and engaging festival guests. Their participation transformed the festival into more than a barbecue competition—it became a true celebration of community.
Kansas City Barbecue Society Recognition:
Special appreciation is extended to the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) Representatives and Certified Barbecue Judges, whose professionalism, dedication, and volunteer service ensured a fair and successful championship competition. Their commitment to excellence allowed pitmasters from across the United States to compete with confidence while maintaining the nationally recognized standards of KCBS competition. BBQ Competition teams it was a pleasure to see many teams return and new teams travel to compete.
