I make my own colored clay using mason stain and thinned out clay. I use tools sometimes to mix, especially when I’m making several colors. Today, I used my hands because I love the feel. I love how it changes in my hands; changes colors and textures right before my eyes.

I have dreamed about this glaze combo for a long time. It’s a sunrise or a sunset or the color of love. Orange, pink, comforting, cheerful, warm. I found the right combo. I am so in love 😍 I can’t stop staring at them.

Call me selfish but I KEPT THIS ONE ALL FOR MYSELF!🎉🫶🏻 It is one of the coolest mugs I’ve made! Oh those driiipppsss….
I often keep the seconds, the ones that didn’t make the cut and it makes me forget how good I can be. I am going to drink from this one every morning to remind myself. And then I’ll make several more for all of you! I am making a few custom orders at the moment but these will be next in my queue! You can preorder yours- just send me a message.

I rarely wear dresses but when I do, it matches my mug! 😆I’ve been working on fall things and fall colors are on my mind. Stay tuned for more glimpses of my fall lineup! Think cozy, warm, stick to your ribs comfort food things.

People ask me: 'How do you actually make a custom mug?' Here's the whole process:
(you can pick one of these beauties from Spokes & Sprockets LLC)!

1. You send me your logo, design idea, or even just a rough sketch
2. I turn it into a clean stamp design on my computer
3. I 3D-print a custom stamp (this is YOUR stamp - I keep it on file for reorders)
4. I throw your mug on the pottery wheel by hand
5. While the clay is still soft, I press your stamp in to create a raised medallion
6. It dries, gets fired in the kiln, glazed, and fired again

Start to finish: about 2-3 weeks. And because I keep your stamp, reordering more is even faster.
