Today we officially hung the sign out at the property and are beginning the next phase of the adventure.

I've heard the saying that when starting a business, you shouldn't hire family and friends. My first two employees were my son and one of my best friends. Five years later, they are still by my side, and together we are still building something that started with a few tools in the back of my truck. We went from backsplashes to Aldi and Meijer stores. Next month, we're doing a brand new Chevy dealership. And we're still out there installing beautiful showers and floors for our local builders and homeowners.

Let's admit that installing tile isn't rocket science. With a little guidance and some YouTube, most people could install their own bathroom floor or backsplash. But when we say we install tile, this is what we are talking about: 24x48 porcelain tiles, all outside corners mitred with vein and pattern wraps, no extra tiles to work with, no mistakes, and 100% perfection.

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a shower. For the first time since I’ve started this business in 2021, we experienced a month without installing a single shower. We completed four installations in July, but none in August. I must say, it was a much-needed break. Here is the last shower Dustin completed in June before he relocated south with his family. Once again, his craftsmanship was exceptional, and he produced an outstanding shower. Thank you for your contributions to building my business, Dustin. I appreciate your efforts more than I can express. I wish you all the best in your new adventure.

Nothing like a fresh floor to make your bar pop. The Delta Eagles hired us to give them a refresh. We tore out three layers of resilient flooring and subfloor that dated back about 40 years. Then we installed a solid 8” quarry tile that should last as long as the building stands.
