Hurricane Prep tips from a native Floridian:

Cook a large filling meal before the storm so that you will have a good meal and leftovers to eat off of if you lose power.

Fill your bathtubs before the storm. You can use a bucket of water poured start into the bowl to flush the toilet if water is out.

Every container you have in your kitchen can hold tap water. No need to stress about bottled water. Fill them up so you will have water to drink.

This will pass. There is no need to panic. God is in control.
I have lost a home before and life has a way of working out. Stuff can always be replaced.

Just stay safe and do not go outside during or immediately after the storm. That is when unnecessary injuries and deaths occur. Powerlines that fall down can be a huge hazard.

Stock up on bug spray for after the power goes out

I will pray for the safety of all.
