It's been a little over a year since I lost my brother " Show " so I felt the need to share with the universe.
I met this dude while he was DJing a party when I was 15 years old in Delray Beach , Fl ( yes a longtime ago ) 😁 on some Hip Hop s**t.
I was a student of the game as was he and we immediately hit it off.
Dude went from a best friend to a brother to me in under a year.
As did my brother .
The 3 of us plus some others were inseparable due to the fact we were taking our craft with the rhyme serious and setting goals to get signed.
This went on for years and our bond turned into a family and our crafts continued to get better.
As we got older we all dealt with our own demons or struggles.
Me and Show got on another level though .
We started to dabble with some other s**t while Bliz wanted nothing to do with it.
My point is our brother Show passed do to the disease of Addiction last year .
He left behind his teenage daughter and son 😪💔 as well as endless others who loved him
myself included.
All I know is as I sit here today writing this with the feeling of I could have reached out more or done more when he was going through his struggles .
Not on some victims s**t ,
just on some " damn why didn't I try to do more for him " s**t.
I feel the need to let the world know if you have someone struggling or going through it at the moment its on you to reach out and go the extra mile to be a true friend , family member to that person's well being.
With that said " Show " this is for you.
I just want you to know I love and miss you every day little brother .
We all do.
God had a plan for you and I feel it's on us to share your story .
If the world had only got a chance to witness your talent like we did I know I would be 1 of millions paying homage to you.
Rest in peace to one of the smartest , loving , dopest MC's I have ever had the opportunity of meeting.
