🎃🦀 With Halloween right around the corner, what better time to introduce our Halloween Crab, Mr. Rangoon!

Halloween crabs are fascinating land crabs that spend most of their adult lives on land, but still depend on the ocean to reproduce. Females return to the sea to release their eggs, where the young begin their lives before eventually making their way onto land.

These colorful crabs are native to tropical areas along the Pacific coast of Central and South America. 🌴🌊 🌴

Stop in this weekend and meet Mr. Rangoon for yourself! And don’t worry… his pinch is worse than his bite! 😂🦀🎃

At Delphos Pet Palace, you'll find almost as much artwork from talented local kids as you will animals! 😂

Hundreds of kids have visited us, and some have left their beautiful creations for us to proudly display.

We've decided to dedicate a special space to these young artists by creating our very own MASTERPIECE WALL! 🎨❤️

From colorful critters to imaginative creations, every piece makes our little zoo that much more special. Thank you to all the kiddos who have helped decorate our walls. We can't wait to see what you will imagine next!

With Homecoming season here, we thought Dakota should probably start taking some slow-dance lessons. 🐍🕺

Still waiting on that HoCo proposal though… 👀

Ladies, he's single, he doesn't have two left feet, and gives AMAZING hugs. 😂🐍

🦎Come meet our sweet little Green Anoles!🦎

Green anoles are native to the southeastern United States, where they spend their days climbing through trees, bushes, fences, and gardens looking for their next meal.... and gardeners should probably thank them! 🌿

Green anoles are little bug-control machines, eating insects and other small critters like crickets, grasshoppers, flies, moths, beetles, and spiders. 🦗🪰🕷️

Our little guy is an absolute sweet boy who loves being hand-fed. ❤️ You just have to occasionally remind him that the hand is NOT the food! 🦎

Come say hi this weekend! 👋 Hand-feeding not required! 😂
