As I make this post I am feeling completely broken and defeated. Thanks to our neighbors complaint I now have 3 choices
1-apply to get my property rezoned to A1, cost to apply is $200. process takes 3 months and she said it won't get approved.
2-move the animals to a property zoned A1 or A2
3-close and get "rid" of all animals on the property by the end of the year
Well, I guess there were 4 choices cause she also repeatedly mentioned moving out of White County.
I will tell you she seemed most stuck on option 3. So now I have to either file all this paperwork to rezone my house and fight with the county or we have to find property in the A1 or A2 zone that we can either purchase cheaply or find someone to donate. I am completely broken over this. The 700 lives we saved don't matter, the help we have been to county and local authorities doesn't, all that matters is I didn't get her permission. The fact that Brookston knew what we were doing doesn't matter either.

the neighbor filed multiple complaints from the pool (that isn't there anymore to the number of cats we helping. We aren't zoned to be an animal shelter and foster based rescue isn't a thing in her opinion
