I once read somewhere recently that for some people the only time they experience physical touch is with a hairdresser or barber . That thought makes me so sad because I know we need human connection to thrive . I feel so lucky to be in a profession that is all about connecting with people . Last Thursday evening I got home after a long busy day at the salon and I couldn’t help but feel so grateful for all of the hugs I gave and received from pretty much every single client that came in . It will always be about so much more than just hair for me , that’s probably why I’ve been doing this for almost 30 years 😮. Every single person that walks in is meant to feel seen , heard and appreciated. I want you to not only love your hair and feel amazing when you leave but also the whole time you’re in my chair. I want you to be excited about getting your hair done ! My clients are all like extended family to me , and if you don’t have that kind of relationship and trust with your current stylist then maybe ask yourself why . Also how gorgeous are these two with those smiles ! One went lighter and the other went darker because why not ? 😂
