The Route 16 Drive-In

09/27/2026

And that's a wrap on our first season as The Route 16 Drive-In! The 2026 season has been full of challenges that's for sure but we are ready to start on renovations and preparations for next season! The enthusiasm and encouragment we've recieved from the community has been nothing short of amazing!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It has been an absolute dream come true to be able to run this Drive-In as my own and to keep the magic of the Drive-In alive! A huge thank you to my staff and family, I couldn't do it without you all 💜
We'll be updating you in the off season so keep an eye out and remember even though it's the off season, the Drive-In is still private property. Please be respectful. 🙂

Unfortunately, we will only be able to show screen 1 this week. A routine battery change on the back projector ended in the loss of our ICP board, due to it's age. This means we will not be able to show Resident Evil.

We will show our second week of Practical Magic 2 on screen 1, which will leave us open to play something fun for our last weekend next week. I was thinking of maybe leaning into some Halloween stuff. First feature family friendly, second feature scary.... Any suggestions?

As summer comes to an end so does our 2026 season. Our last weekend will be be next week, September 25th and 26th. In the future we would like to stay open through October but this year it just isn't feasible. On that note...A few changes this week:

The sun is setting earlier which means we can start the movies earlier. We will be opening instead of 7:30 and shows will begin at approximately 8:15pm.

We are going to step away from double features this week and show only one movie per screen.
🎟 This will change admission to $7.00 per person. No special rates. No carloads. Just $7.00 per ticket.

🎬 Showing September 18th and 19th

📽 Screen 1: *Practical Magic 2* 🌙✨️ (PG13)
The Owens sisters are back for another spellbinding chapter of love, family, and a little bit of magic. 🔮

📽 Screen 2: *Resident Evil* (R) 🧟‍♂️
From routine delivery to full-blown nightmare. One wrong turn throws a medical courier straight into a terrifying outbreak where survival is anything but guaranteed. 😱🩸

🛍 Our Saturday flea market is sure to have tons of traffic this weekend with the Route 16 yard sales happening. $15 to set up a 10x20!
We still have plenty of space!! Our location is 11771 Rt.16 Delevan NY, 14042

🖤 There's no place like the Drive-In! 🌌

Time to either find this iconic Captain Crook McDonald's slide a new home... OR restore it and keep it for all of the memories we know it's worth.
The picture on the left is ours, picture on the right shows we are missing an important piece!!
We obviously have a soft spot for nostalgia.
What do you think?
Is this something you would like to see us keep around or is it out with the old and in with the new?
