Today we are introducing Ray Pesante as The Program and Event Director for The Jane Doe Foundation. 💜

Ray has been a constant source of strength, support, and stability in my life personally for over 14 years. He has stood beside me through some of the most difficult chapters and he has witnessed firsthand the realities of mental health issues and trauma.

Beyond that, Ray brings dedication, reliability, and a genuine passion for helping others. His ability to connect with people and create meaningful experiences will play a vital role in developing impactful programs and events for our community.

Plus someone has to keep me in check 😉.

I am incredibly grateful to have him as part of the leadership team.

🧑‍🍳 Back of House (Cook) Requirements:

•Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen
•Consistent food quality and strong attention to detail
•Strong sense of urgency and time management
•Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary station at all times
•Follow recipes, portion standards, and all food safety and health code regulations
•Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

🍻Front of House (Server/Bartender) Requirements:

•Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
•Ability to multitask under pressure
•Knowledge of basic cocktails and beer service
•Accurate cash handling and POS use
•Strong teamwork
•Reliable and punctual
•Flexible availability

All proceeds go to Waldo Community Betterment Committee. Since the committee was founded in 2019 they have given over $10,000 to the Waldo Community. They have been able to help Waldo residents in need after three fires in the village, supply toys for Christmas in Waldo, help with school supplies for Waldo residents, pay for overdue school lunches at a local elementary, buy coats for kids in need, and pass out candy for Halloween. They have donated to: River Valley FFA, Prospect Lions Club, Buckeye Valley FFA, Marion Radio Club, Waldo Pool, Tall Grass Trail in Marion, Pleasant Football, River Valley Football, River Valley Volleyball, and Marion Police Cadets. The Waldo Community Betterment Committee is also the host of Waldo Summer Festival.
