Memorabeadia is the renewing and making memories with Beads and other things.
So one of the other things that I use to restore or make memories is making cloth flowers.
So I wrote this as an explanation of why I do them.

July 2,2026

When you go to a funeral or a celebration of life,
there’s always fresh flowers or flower arrangements.
In a way,
they are a symbol of the person who has passed ,
when they were here and alive..,
They were beautiful and brought joy to everyone….
The problem is ,
that those fresh flowers die,
And fade away …..

That may be why I make flowers from the clothing of our loved ones
they don’t turn brown and fade away….
And realistically,
the memory of our loved one does not fade away ,
it’s always there…
the little cloth flower that I make ,
Are to help people remember the good times ,…
maybe they even remember the outfit that those flowers were made from and what was said or done that day..
There will be some ,
that think my flowers are a little tacky ,
and maybe ,
they’re not as pretty as fresh ones.
Some ,
may even throw them away quickly after the funeral or celebration of life.,…
others will put them in a vase ,
Or a box ,
so they can go back and look at them ,….
From time to time….

In the end ,
if the flowers touch the heart of one or two people,
it may even bring a tear of joy to their eyes. ,
That’s all that really matters….
That’s why I make the cloth Flowers…..
to restore ,
retain ,
And pass on ,
the Joy of the memories ,
of our loved one.

This is for the class of 1976. It is a blanket that is 48“ x 48“….

If you’re looking for one of a kind items to enhance a day and make it more special, here’s some ideas .You can use the dolls as cake toppers, you can use the pass it on doll as a blessing doll at a wedding.
The owls can be a baby‘s gift and the other pass it on doll could be used to put things from someone who has passed all over the doll so that you can tell stories about the person… it’s just different ways of creating more memories
