I know this is a silly question but, if anyone has seen supernatural, those symbols they used on the show called Devil's traps that if a demon is within its boundaries it will be trapped or contained. Is there anything actually like this in real life, any type of symbols or magical seals, circles, or sigils, that will trap a demon inside of it? Are there any type of magical boundaries whatsoever that can be created that will trap a demonic entity within it? sometimes television uses stuff from actual things, not always but sometimes. Let me know anyone that knows about this.

I heard some people who encountered large booms which only one or two select people could hear. For instance a large thud from the living-room, but when they went to check of it all was as it should be. It is not like a thundering door-knock, but rather just a huge boom out of nowhere. And I mean a really large boom, like as the house would collapse any moment afterwards. But, only a few could hear it, and there are no apparent reasons for them hearing it and everybody else not hearing it. Anybody who knows more about this phenomenon, or who had some experiences? I'm thinking about just ordinary houses that has a "history" or possibly remains buried on them.

When i was little around 3 or four i went into my family basement and i saw 2 black figures they didn't seem mad or anything they were just kinda there i went upstairs and told my mother that there were people in the basement she said that there wasn't and i went back down and they were gone. Was it a ghost or something else?
give a man a fish you feed or a day, teach a man to fish you feed him for a life time.
It was probably a shade, or possibly even a shadow. The shade is most likely.

Howdy folks,

I have a small iron cauldron, about a foot in diameter and about six inches deep. I think it was originally a cooking pot. It's made of iron, and bears no marks to signify who made it.

(On a side note, my cats enjoy sleeping in it when it's empty.)

When completely filled with water, it proves to reflect images very well because its dark color makes it similar to a mirror.

When I attempt to focus into the images reflected, naturally I do not see any otherwordly images, or visions. I feel that it reflects almost too well, and so abstract images do not have the opportunity to form. Despite this, I have read of people using mirrors to scry, which usually reflect images flawlessly, yet these individuals seem to see images not normally reflected in the mirror.

My questions are:
1) Does anyone else use a similar method of scrying?
2) If so, can you give me any tips to help with scrying with such a device?

These runes are not meant for divination.

Skadwaz: Its name means "shadow" and it is the inverse of one form of the torch rune Kenaz. It can be assigned a protective or evasive power because it is part of the rune Ailgiz, and also could be seen as a rune to open possibilities with.
Rukiz: Its name means "smoke" and it is a reversal of a form of Kenaz. It can act as a counterbalance to the fiery nature of the torch rune and has a grounding nature, bringing one out of the grips of delusion.
Totesrune: The old germanic rune of the dead. Its phonetic value is "R" and it is the rune of the underworld, Hel. It is used for bringing one in contact with the dead. The shape of the rune symbolizes the roots of the great tree, Yggdrasil.
Second Aett
Irzesh: The only rune in this set without a proto germanic name base. It is "The Seal of the Dark" and perhaps the strongest and darkest of the dark runes. Use it to endow people, places and things with the virtues of darkness, and to counteract the light.
Lubtan: Its name means "left." It is the sinister, or left handed rune and symbolizes left-handed energy.
Naxtaz: Its name means "night." It is the inverse of the Sun rune, Sowilo. Sowilo is also the rune of the soul. One could associate this rune with Nott, the norse goddess of night.

I have a friend from New Jersey and we recently talked about the spirits that inhabit the Pine Barrens. She said the people called them "Dervishes", I have heard them referred to as "Pino". One classic example of such a sprit is the "Jersey Devil". He was often blamed for things like missing people and forest fires. My question is: Has anyone ever heard of these spirits being called Dervishes?

So ive been hearing about this wonderful association several times in the forums(SororTD) and im interested to know how this and the study program works from someone who is practicing it currently. How does it work? What materials/etc to you get and how are the study materials? Ive been looking at all the associated sites with it as well and have become very interested in it, as im very interested in studying Alchemy from a legitimate source and getting a certification in it. Ive been studying it independently for a while now and im looking to take it a step further.

The reason, and the main reason is very plain. The Elite (who actually have been secretly practising witchcraft) are very uncomfortable with the idea of everyday people bettering their own lives. This has always been the story of mankind - Keep the masses ignorant so that the Elite can rule them without any form of trouble.
Witchcraft was actually ILLEGAL in many countries, and during the 1950's in Britian the law was relaxed. I personally think that praying to God is a form of witchcraft in itself.
