DELANO GRANITE CHIP HUNT BEGINS JUNE 22
Delano's favorite pasttime is BACK in time for this year's Delano 4th of July celebration!
The granite chip is 3 inches wide by 2.5 inches tall and pays homage to the city’s motto and Delano Granite Works. It is hidden somewhere on public property within Delano city limits. Please be SAFE, and be respectful to property and to others when hunting for the chip.
Find the chip and redeem it for a $200 cash prize! Again this year – win an EXTRA $100 if you have a Delano Royalty button!

The chip hunt is sponsored by Bryce Deter - State Farm Insurance Agent.
The hunt will begin Monday, June 22. Clues will be released each day at 9 a.m. on the Senior Center and 4th of July pages.

Our 4th of July Celebration is a mixture of our traditional events through the years such as music, baseball, softball, hamburger stand, parade, kiddie parade, waterball, carnival, and Coronation, mixed with new and exciting events such as trap shooting, car show, market in the park, chalk art, and more entertainment!
