WCHL Referees Wanted! 🏒

The Waukesha County Hockey League (WCHL) is looking to add USA Hockey-certified officials for the upcoming season!

With 36 teams across four divisions, the WCHL offers plenty of opportunities to get on the ice, earn extra income, and officiate adult hockey throughout the season. Each WCHL game utilizes two USA Hockey-certified referees, and officials must have a current USA Hockey certification to work league games.

The puck drops on another season of the Waukesha County Hockey League (WCHL) beginning September 18! 🏒

What started in 2004 with just 10 teams across two divisions has grown into one of the area's largest adult hockey leagues. This season marks Season #23, with 36 teams taking the ice across four divisions.

Last fall and winter, approximately 760–770 individual players participated in the league, and the 2026–27 season is already at maximum team capacity! We're looking forward to another great year of adult hockey at Naga-Waukee and Eble Ice Arena!

Naga-Waukee Park Ice Arena will be closed Tuesday, September 1 through Saturday, September 12 for scheduled ice maintenance.

We’ll be back in action on Sunday, Sept. 13 with a fresh, shiny new sheet of ice ready for you! ❄️⛸️

Join the Waukesha County Youth Hockey Association (WCYHA) for Try Hockey for Free and let your child experience one of the coolest sports on ice - at no cost! This event is designed for beginners in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.

Today, we join the entire Waukesha County community in honoring the life and legacy of Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow.

Paul was a true supporter of the skating community and Waukesha County's ice arenas. Whether he was championing our park system or even taking a ride on one of our Zambonis, he always recognized the value our parks and recreational facilities bring to residents and families throughout Waukesha County.

We hope you'll join us for the community visitation celebrating Paul's life this evening, August 6, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Waukesha County Expo Center.💙
